Position duties include performing chemical and microbiological testing and perform preventive maintenance as well as assisting with other routine laboratory tasks. Responsibilities: • Work closely with research scientists on biological process development • Assist research scientist to complete routine chemical and microbiological testing • Gather and analyze data and report key results • Flexible among programs ranging from long-term and exploratory research • To assist R&D engineers and scientists in managing chemical, lab consumable purchasing and inventory; • Ensures a safe and healthy environment by complying with all company safety policies and procedures • 按照规定的实验方案, 辅助研发工程师准备和实施实验 (例如分析水质, 操作实验设备, 配制化学试剂), 采集数据, 分析数据和生成报告. • 辅助研发工程师对实验室进行管理,维护实验装置, 采购和管理日常实验室消耗品和化学试剂. • 遵守环境, 健康和安全要求 • 相关实验管理维护 Qualifications/Requirements: • BS/MS students training in microbiology, biology, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or environmental engineering related subject. • Hands-on experience in biological research laboratory setting is desirable. • Able to work full time during summer break and at least 2 days every week during regular semester. Expect on board from July 2014~ Sep 2015. • Independently perform tests according to procedure and consistently delivers quality results efficiently and accurately. • Proficient in Microsoft office skills for data entry and analysis and report results using basic statistics (average, standard deviation etc.). • Self-started, clear thinker, proactive learner.
