JOB DESCRIPTION
Through this position, intern will have the opportunity to partner with our team to gain experience in a department focused on best practices and extraordinary service levels. You will participate in variety of functions based upon business needs. Projects may include work in the areas of leave & attendance management, recruitment, and learning & development. The following are specific duties assigned to HR intern:
 Develop intern recruitment strategies with HR Business Partner
 Posting positions, screening resumes for internship positions, arranging interviews and testing
 Maintain data in HRIS
 Preparing internship contracts and other new hire paperwork
 Drive initiatives and research related to various HR areas
 Assist HR Business Partner with the performance review process
 General clerical duties such as filing, photocopying/scan materials, translation, preparing first day orientation kits, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS AND STANDARDS
 Bachelor or Master’s degree in progress, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Labor Economics with some relevant internship experience
 Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources Management
 Proficiency in English language
 Familiarity with Microsoft office software
 Ability to manage multiple projects independently
 Ability to work well with others in a team environment, as well as to work independently
APPLICATION INFORMATION
APCO is accepting applications for internships on a rolling basis; interns should be able to make a three-six month commitment and to work at the office for at least 3 days per week. Outstanding interns may be given the opportunity to transition to permanent, full-time employment. Preference is given to candidates already located in mainland China.
