Role Summary/Purpose: Assist EHS leader to implement and continuously improving EHS programs in GE Healthcare Life Sciences Greater China to achieve full compliance with all applicable laws & regulations as well as GE Corporate & GEHC Business EHS standards & requirements. Essential Responsibilities: Support overall EHS programs and EHS framework implementation in GEHC LS China. Support the hazardous chemical management for LS China, mainly about chemical product registration, license update, product test, MSDS management, etc. Assist the industrial hygiene and occupational health program management, mainly about IH risk assessment, OH checkup arrangement, medical records management, etc. Coordinate employee PPE assessment, application and order process. Coordinate EHS training program, mainly about training assignment, training tracker and onsite training support. Support to drive EHS culture throughout LS China organization, mainly about EHS communications like newsletters, EHS alerts and organize EHS activities. Support to track employee EHS concerns and take part in incident investigations. Qualifications/Requirements: 6 months full-time internship at least 3 days a week at office. Major in Environment, Biology, Chemical, Public Health, etc. would be preferred. Proven skills at MS office software. Good at event planning and making newsletters. Proven communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal). Fluency in both Chinese and English.
